CheckFire: Supporting all your fire safety needs

The last few weeks have been a tough time for many – the impact of COVID-19 has hit businesses hard. But the roadmap has been laid out that’s hopefully going to ease Britain out of lockdown.

As we all try to navigate such unprecedented times, our customers have found themselves in varying situations.

At CheckFire, we’ve been extremely keen to support our customers in any way we can, as we all look towards the light at the end of the tunnel and anticipate a new ‘normal’. It’s so important that everyone in the fire trade works together to ensure fire safety remains at the forefront of people’s minds. No matter the changing circumstances and landscapes, fire safety across businesses – and any commercial property – is crucial and so we still have an important job to do.

Getting through difficult times

During the stay-at-home period, we reached out to all our customers, as well as those who wouldn’t ordinarily buy our products, to simply offer guidance and support during hard times. We demonstrated how essential it is that children understand fire safety – homeschooling parents were provided with the means to teach it and make it an engaging topic – as well as educated families about how to safely barbecue in the garden.

But business owners have been met with untold stress over the last few weeks, as workforces adapted to remote working and questioned whether they should cease all marketing activity altogether. Our articles provided helpful advice for fire safety in the home office that customers could relay to their staff, as well as raise awareness of the fact that with more of us at home 24/7, there was naturally an increased fire risk and the requirement for extra precautions.

Via our series of supportive articles, we offered our thoughts and advice on how you could ensure your website and product offering was reaching as many customers as possible. We also provided guidance on how you could sensitively continue marketing so you didn’t go quiet on your customers and advised how to communicate effectively and make the most of your sales.

Looking toward a successful future

Now that we’re easing out of lockdown and we’re working toward some form of normality, we’re really keen to continue to help you get business back on track. We want to help you continue raising awareness of mandatory fire-fighting equipment and the need to be compliant with fire safety legislation. CheckFire is here, as always, to supply key fire safety products and share insights and advice whenever they’re required. As you help your customers ease out of lockdown, it’s a great time to promote the value of fire safety equipment – and we want to work closely with you to ensure fire safety doesn’t get left behind.

Need help in reaching out to your customers? We’re always happy to help. Contact us for all the latest product news or information about legislation compliance. Alternatively, browse our blog for insights and guidance.
