CheckFire prides itself on its service and being able to support your business, and we are fully aware of the value and importance of timely deliveries and Next Day services. With this in mind, we wanted to be proactive in sharing with you some of the current exceptional challenges being faced by the UK pallet network.

The attached communication from The Association of Pallet Networks provides the background to the current disruption being experienced; in short this relates to the impact from Covid over the last 12 months resulting in unprecedented demand at a time where there is an acute driver shortage in the pallet network.

CheckFire has been working with more than one pallet network member recently in order to minimise any disruption to you. However, with the challenges in the pallet network escalating, we wanted you to be aware that Next Day services are not currently being guaranteed and some deliveries may indeed be delayed.

In light of these circumstances, we would welcome your support to work together to minimise any disruption to your business. By working together we are confident that we can work through these challenges. We would ask where possible for you to place orders with as much notice as possible, minimising the requirement for Next Day services wherever possible.
